Joe W. Yang is the Program Director – Greater China of Sino-American Logistics Council where he oversees the training and certification programs for China, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR. He is a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
He has been involved with the industry since 1974. During which he has held senior management positions with multinational corporations such as Santa-Fe (USA), IKEA (Sweden), DB Schenker (Germany), Philips (Netherlands), Sinotrans (China) and, LG (Korea). His areas of responsibilities included logistics and supply chain operation with a focus on food safety, cold chain, dangerous goods transport, cargo security and safety. He has led the development of a number of domestic and international standards. He was also involved in writing of the Macao food law for Macao SAR.
Mr. Yang has been a Safety Inspectors of China Air Transport Association (CATA) since 2008. He was also the only representative of Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese elected to be a Member of the China Law Society. Mr. Yang is a visiting professor for various universities in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. He has vast experience with Academic-Industry cooperation.
Mr. Yang currently serves as the Chief-Consultant and Director of Yaohe Biotechnology Group.
